This post contains some stuff some may find disturbing (more so than usual) and so if you continue reading you have to pass through the patented light field device, which affords the reader a bit of extra protection when touring these spectra.

Of course my understanding of limbo is a bit different than the Catholics whose interpretation is, IMHO, muddied up by turning it into a place where only go the unbaptized.

Limbo will always exist, unfortunately. A netherworld that lies on the non-physical side of the various spectra and is much like the dreamworld which exists in a nearby spectra and is also a very real place. It has nothing to do with Baptism, though and everything to do with folks who have died and simply don't understand how the infinite universe works, which is a sizable number that can't be counted and which is always replenished by others after some leave by descending lower or extricating themselves.

Limbo is a huge place, as big as the universe, only confined by its own spectra. Earth's portion of limbo is quite filled. I've been there numerous times between lives to help guide out some folks who took a left-turn and who had some higher placed relatives and friends looking out for them.

The lower thresholds of limbo have some very real monsters running around there, examples of human devolution each one, and the Catholics' limbo is probably a much nicer place than the real McCoy.

Earth's portion of limbo contains all the known time periods within it. In it you can visit the middle ages, the renaissance or the great depression. However, only the lower aspects of them will remain, created by the minds of folks who died at this time and recreated in their thoughts that which they knew. A true shadow world. Many folks, a vast majority who reside there, have no idea they have died and their minds continue a somewhat similar life to the life they had. They live a re-run of their previous life to some extent, only it is not real, rather the consciousness projecting out what it has recorded, and here only the lower unhappy moments of life are re-enacted over and over again.

Catholics and theologists got some of it right. The repeating of the same tasks over and over again is a staple of many theistic visions of hell. Whether the writers of these things were capable of seeing into these netherworlds and writing down what they saw, or they simply recalled them from their own experience is unknown, but folks like Hieronymus Bosch, whose paintings definitely capture the nightmarish frequency of these realms, saw some things truly.

Again, limbo is filled with the lower aspects: violence, hatred, lust, jealousy all exist here and are even stronger here than in the material world. Some folks pass through limbo briefly. They die, and if they have no real understanding of death and expected it to be either the end of all things or somesuch, they will loiter here in limbo until someone, usually a relative, friend or someone who has known them, clues them in on what's happened. They then leave limbo for a higher spectra, also non-physical but one that actually resides higher than the material spectra. These spectra contain all the higher elements of man, and contain great schools, universities, healing centers and great gardens - a "heaven" of sorts in comparison to limbo.

This is where the whole misconception about heaven and hell came from - very real spectra that exist higher or lower than the material world. It was interpreted by unscientific folks who could only describe these things in very limited ways and with only a very vague understanding. Bad people go to hell and good people go to heaven. It's very simplistic, but like many religious tenets is usually based in some distorted truth. To folks with the beginnings of an infinite perspective, this world is a hell world. The level of thinking, the daily actions are possible only in a world where lower drives control and guide the actions of each individual.

The massacres, wars and selfishness can't exist on the higher spectra and find their home here and in the lower realms limbo.

All the great wars are still being fought in limbo. You may find a soldier in Napoleon's army replaying his fighting and death just as easily as you could find a WWI pilot reliving his dogfights and crash. The difference between them and other folks who go to the higher spectra are their own understandings and development. This is why religions teach selflessness over selfishness, charity over greed, etcetera. Why books have been written trying to guide folks into better ways of living so that they go to "heaven" and not to "hell". Generally, selfishness is the path to devolution and selflessness is the path to evolution. One increases and expands your intelligence and structures, and the other constricts and confines them.

Man is the first step, and has the choice - selfishness or selflessness. Selflessness leads to love, charity, kindness and selfishness leads to hate, jealousy, lust, etcetera. Limbo is filled with folks who have chosen the selfish path in excess of the selfless path.
