Tsushima Straits tunnel
Cool idea but the cost would be substantial (65 Billion $)- as would the technical challenges, were they thinking a real tunnel or a tube laid on the bottom?
The Japanese at one point thought about a rail turnnel to Korea, then on to China, but N.Korea is probably still a road block on that idea.
