Decided upon a Moto G (2nd generation)
Rave reviews and relatively inexpensive ($180). I just hope I can learn to use it.
"Moto G is powered by Android™ 4.4, KitKat®. And with a guaranteed upgrade*, know you are up to date with the best Android experience.
"*The device will receive at least one software update to the current KitKat 4.4.X operating system."
