Did you watch it?
I noticed the parallels too. When you have a group of self righteous PARROTS, who, ....not being able.... or even wanting to examine the situation critically, simply parrot the party line and make a name for themselves. William Safire is one of them. That 28 yr. old kid who wrote all those articles looked like a complete TWIT. He did a good job regurgitating the pablum, but has absolutely NO idea of the pre-requisites to go to war in this country.
I wonder how many reporters got paid to write their articles with the script being handed to them. The one where Mary Maitlin (?) released the info about the yellow tubes in the morning and Cheney going on national TV that night and re-interating it to the masses really got my hackles up. What a sales job!
Perhaps they all should be brought up on "conspiracy"charges? Nah, let them OWN this debacle, but take away their bank accounts and make them apologize to the parents of the dead soldiers. I know i'm being vehement about this, but it was a CON JOB America! Makes my thoughts about Cheney's "secret energy meetings" come to the foreground. I'd bet we find all the answers right in there.
And yes, I watch how "ideas" split the country and I saw the damage Bill O'Reilly did by calling anyone against the war a BAD American. Go back to the PBS site, they may have downloaded the whole documentary by now.
