"Unless the killing stops..."
I think we need to get rid of the foul lie that removing the U.S. from Iraq--and inevitably shortly thereafter Afghanistan--is going to "stop the killing," or "end the war."
It isn't going to be as easy to turn off the news flow from the Middle East as it was after the fall of Vietnam, when for all intents and purposes that nation ceased to exist as far as the media and the Left were concerned.
