Obviously, I don't post much on CE and when I do it is usually something facetious or on a subject less controversial.
I no longer care much about the insults if the recipient doesn't complain. That seems to be the way most want it.
My reasons for staying are similar to yours plus a fascination with the social dynamics of the board and curiosity on where it all winds up.
