But if you're actually counting dollars, entitlements exceed both military and NASA spending. Jeff is basically right.
The NASA 2008 request is roughly $18 billion, which is about three percent of the security budget, but only one percent of entitlements.
The entire NASA budget is enough to run the whole Federal government for about two days.
