As each extra solar planet is discovered, I feel like a stamp collector that just got a new stamp for his collection. COROT has now started to do its part to increase the collection. It seems COROT will be accurate enough to find earth size rocky bodies eventually.

To me extra solar planet detection is one of the coolest scientific endeavors of our time. The first was in 1995, and now there are over 200. Soon there will be thousands. Of course we will not stop there and detections will go up exponentially as are technology improves. What will we discover when the catalog is in the millions and beyond?
