re: August 1 2008 - path of totality
We were talking last night (among club members) about a trip to Novosibirsk....Apparently, it's time to decide.
Weather is not ideal (very polluted area), it is really expensive (I would rather buy an H-Alpha filter and look at the sun every day)...but it's true it's during summer vacation and it would be quite a trip (train from Moskow to Novosibirsk).
