Beyond Tomorrow had an article and a test-drive of a prototype just a couple of years ago here on Aussie TV. Looked fantastic then and still looks good. I just hope it sells like hot cakes and becomes a real band-wagon phenomenon amongst car-makers.
The other big potential for compressed air is off-peak power-storage for renewables, thus allowing base-load supply by things like solar and wind.
