Traffic was bad in Houston during the Super Bowl. Took me an hour and a half to get home from work.
Take off work that week and get out of town.
I have not been inside of Dallas since probably 1990 on my way to Colorado.
I have been close to Dallas many times recently. My brother lives in Greenville just to your east. That little town is becoming a suburb of Dallas. He is the head of the ER in their hospital.
It takes me about five hours to get up there. Going through Tyler is a pain. That little town has traffic jams on the loop. It has become what Houston was 50 years ago. It even has a few high rise buildings in its downtown.
