Concepts like this make me nervous. It amounts to trying to fix a million-dollar computer by hitting it with a hammer. The "iron filings in the ocean" idea is very similar. Nobody knows how many natural balances somebody might screw up doing things like this. Australian rabbits seemed like a brilliant idea, once. Or Kudzu. Or those damn French snails in my garden.
There aren't going to be any "one button" ideas for climate change. In fact, "one button" ideas for almost anything need a lot of scrutiny.
