Did she say anything about the error?
If she noticed it, then I would say she is off the hook.
If she didn't notice it, that is bad.
When I was a teacher, I spent one year teaching at what some would call a “Redneck†school.
To get parents to come to a meeting, they gave out free tee-shirts. On the tee-shirt they printed something like “Excellence in Education.†The only problem is they spelled Excellence wrong (Excelance), and not one person said anything about it.
I am a horrible speller, but even I know that tomorrow is spelled tom-or-row (That is how I remember that there is one m and two r's). I would have seen that one and said something about it if I had been in her shoes.
