I didn't, cause I had more important things to do like scrub the toilet bowl,
but on Air America this morning they played excerpts, etc. Apparently
evolution and ID was a big topic in the debates, with most of the candidates
either endorsing a big guy with robes making everything or guys like McCain
sniffing at bush's rear end and going along with his view on it - which is
whatever works. Translation: They wouldn't know science if it jumped up
on a table, stripped itself naked, painted its body purple and sang "I'm a
scientific fact!" in E flat.
Just like in 1992 when they knew they were in trouble, the republicans
caught their undies in a knot about how THEY ended the Cold War (which
looks like it is getting a bit warm/cold again), rather than focus on silly
little things the people wanted to hear, like evolution vs. creationism and
how Paris Hilton is doing in prison.
Off Topic » in reply to I , for one, am quite glad he said that!
Did you see last night's republican debate?
