Boston Harbor Angels, an investment consortium of angel investors has just funded XCOR for sub-orbital flight development. XCOR has taken a step by step approach soliciting govt contracts that are in line with their company goals to build a sub orbital vehicle. Recently, they test fired a methane fueled rocket engine under NASA contract.
