I was speaking of my own perceptions.

What would you call dumping tons of weapons, war tech, war training, training in interrogation practices, and etc., to serve the ends of the dumpers, if some other country did it to America?

Or the bizarre Lucy and the football game we played with Saddam for decades? (Kill the evil Iranians [our enemies...our friends...our enemies - dang inconstant Iranians!]! You are too militaristic! Gas 'em! You gassed the wrong people and now you are an outlaw! Go ahead and invade Kuwait! You villain, you invaded Kuwait! Disarm! [We disarmed!] Disarm! [We disarmed!] We must invade you to make you disarm! [We disarmed!]

It is no wonder our third world "allies" need a support group. If you could just take your American provincial blinders off for a second and examine what our "friendship" looks like from the other party's perspective, I think you might learn something new.
