How much terraforming would it take to get plants to grow in Hellas?
As noted in a post below, water can be stable in liquid form in Hellas at certain times. I wonder what it would take to get plants to grow there. Perhaps a slight increase in CO2 by melting some of the ice caps?
With Mars slowly warming, Hellas could become an oasis of life on the planet.
I wish we could get a MER there, but the dust storms Hellas see's might be a problem.
