From the Earth to the Moon goof
I was watching From the Earth to the Moon last night, where Neil Armstrong was practicing landing the LEM. They said this was taking place at Ellington Field in Houston. In one shot you could see mountains and the background and the terrain looked like a desert.
Ellington Field rest on the flat coastal plane. The area gets lots of rain and is not a desert. And the nearest mountain is in West Texas on the other side of the state.
This show has done a great job with details. I am surprised they overlooked that one.
