Ok, I saw this and I'm wondering if any of you here saw it too:
[During undocking, as the orbiter backed away from the outpost, the live video appeared to show a large piece of debris floating away from the space station. NASA engineers are studying several videos of the debris, which space station program manager Mike Suffredini said is likely a small object or a large soft object.
"The early indications are it's probably a very small object," Suffredini said, noting engineers would study the incident carefully just in case, but that the object is not something NASA would note except that it was easily seen on the video by reporters and the public. Still, the debris is being thoroughly checked out.
Suffredini said the object likely came off the space shuttle during undocking and other NASA officials said it might be ice particles forming from water coming from the orbiter's thrusters, which is not uncommon. Suffredini said it also could be some kind of blanket coming off either station or shuttle.]

The flickering particles could very well be ice crystals. They may even have something to do with the water dump Atlanis did recently. The floating object did look like a soft, tubular thermal covering to me and it did look like it floated away 'behind' the station and looked smaller as it drifted downward and away.
Never a dull moment.
Floating debris shortly after undocking.
