Shuttle/ISS double pass for 6-21

Heavens-Above has already written the Shuttle off its list, since it was supposed to land today, but of course, it's still up there. A nice pass tonight, high up and bright. The Shuttle came along, as I assumed it would, a few minutes ahead of the ISS.

It must be in a slightly lower orbit now, which is why the Shuttle is moving ahead of the ISS. I confirmed this when I noticed that the Shuttle faded out sooner in its track than the ISS did.

If there was a window facing the right way, I wonder if the ISS crew could see the Shuttle ahead of it, a star leading the way.
