The Reagan Revolution cleaned out many of the "country club" Republicans from positions of leadership, but by the late 80s and early 90s, many of the scoundrels were weaseling their way back in. Then in 1994, the Contract with America revolution once again flushed them out. This however only last for a couple of years. Now it's time for another house cleaning to get the party whipped back into shape. The immigration fight and corruption issues will help usher in another grass roots movement to bring in fresh faces who will answer to the will of the People and not to those willing to sell this country out for increased profits or political opportunism...at least for a little while.
