I am in the middle of Cryptonomicon but moving slowly as I seem to do on all of Neql Stephenson's books other than Snow Crash. They are hard to put down for awhile and then seem to drag on for awhile.

Planning to read Verner Vinge's Rainbows End. I love all his work. I think, with the exception of RE, I have read every scrap of fiction he has written. I recently picked up Peter Hamilton's Fallen Dragon for light reading. Some of his stuff is entertaining.

I am also a big fan of Niven and I have read many of his novels and short stories. If I hadn't quit on the Ring World series I would claim to have read most of his work. With the way the mix up the anthologies I am not sure if I have read any of the Draco Tavern stories but I have read something that had Draco's in it as part of the story.

I also havent read any of the Kzin series. Any recommendations?

Haven't read anything by Peter Watts and your review is not encouraging. :)

On anthologies, when I was a kid I usually had a Groff Conklin book nearby.
