Bush worries me if he gets pressed into a corner on this because he's clearly shown he'll lie and distort to change the motivations for war.

He's banking his whole legacy on waging war against those Mideast evildoers and could easily formulate "incidents" to provoke public opinion again and bolster his plans.

I think it's obvious Iran is waiting in the wings just waiting for the right provocation which could easily be pushed or made up.

It would also be very simple for the intelligence forces to let a domestic terrorist incident slip into execution.

We'll see what the future holds. I'd give the odds at about 50/50 that the administration will do something drastic during their remaining days. That's not very reassuring.
