re: NASA and how the next administration will get involved
The sad part is when they agree to fund something, be it manned or of robotic origin and then say that they can't fund it. That, has to stop. They really need to get in the program of manned spaceflight, science and robotics before they can dare to halt a project that was deemed to be in the first place.
Thank goodness the MER's took off, Cassini, many others and so did Hubble and best of luck to New Horizons.
As far as human spaceflight, yes to the Moon, but we shouldn't put too much money there, because Mars is waiting.
By all means the news media needs to better educate the public.
