I was watching a program on ITV last night where a rock sample from Mars was opened and subjected to various tests. They said the sample came to us as a meteorite about a 100 years ago and was identified as Martian because of the gases in it.

My question is â€“ Are we looking at the South and North pole for more Martian material? It seems the logical place for samples and they should be easer to find there, because of the snow pack, than anywhere else.
