The Orion Nebula (M42) much closer than previously thought

Read in a french magazine an article like this one.

The VLBA followed a star called GMRA, in the nebula and it was discovered its distance is 1,268 LY instead of 1,560 LY...

This means the stars are older and less luminous.

But they're still investigating.
