Don't think so

Raoul, I think you’d find a deep and abiding public resistance to the idea in many places in the US. What you guys do over there is your business.

Yeah, I know, a lot of the larger cities in this country have them in certain places. Even here in flyover country they’re placed at a lot of intersections.

But, somewhere, deep inside, the idea gives myself and a lot of other law-abiding citizens the willies. We have enough trouble keeping the Government out of our business. They poke into every aspect of our lives when they get a chance.

To damn many people these days aren’t just giving them a chance they’re begging for it. They’re scared, of terrorism, violent crime ... fill in your own blank.

Thing is, take a long hard deep look at the statistics.

The chances of you being involved in any of these is mighty slim to damn near mathematically none.

And you want us to trade off the hard-won freedoms we’ve got? Don't think so, not without a fight, a long bitter and dangerous fight.

Nah,

as for camera’s in Iraq?

No opinion, besides, as ER said, they’d make mighty fine targets.
