They need a mission statement they live by. Something like .”For the good of Mankind and the Earth.”

They need a system of self checks to make sure what they do is for the good of Mankind and not just for the good of each country behind it.

I believe in the UN. The world needs it. But the UN needs to change. It needs to police itself from the corruption of human weaknesses.

I envision a UN that works on three areas;

1. To secure human rights and a decent standard of living for all of the human race.
2. To protect the environment.
3. To explore and settle space.

That is the UN I want to see.
