You mention that the earth's 18 MPS velocity of revolution about the sun is not sufficient to create a measurable Doppler shift to your signal,
and yet you use the earth's rotation-induced Doppler shift (<1000 MPH) to discriminate between local and cosmic signals. Could you explain please?
