...what's left of them anyway.

I got an error message on my McAfee Security Center: Update Error Reinstall Security Center. So I did (after over an hour trying to figure out where the frig to find their damned home page, etc. etc.).

Restarted computer. Clicked on Update in my McAfee just to check and got the same damned message again. Update error blah blah. So I ran their program to scan for problems, it found errors in DAT and fixed. I get the same damned error message AGAIN. I finally get to something on McAfee that says to go to Start Run and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion and what to do after that. Only HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion ain't there.

I'm so frustrated, I could throw the damned computer out the window. Any help will be muchly appreciated. By me and my cats who have listened to inspired swearing over the last two hours I didn't have to spend on this crap but had to.
