space hotel to open in 2012?
space hotel
This seems extraordinarily ambitious, but damn exciting. If someone is truly putting in 3 billion to make this happen, the space tourism industry just took a big leap from infancy to baby's first steps. Wish there was more info like the actual design in the article, but if this is real i'm sure all will be revealed soon.
Just as a side note, I made a post a few weeks ago, wondering if using the ISS as a space hotel might offset some of the costs. This seems to indicate that might be a viable option.
