One might expect the Iranians to have an interest in their neighbors. The US has staged invasions half a world away, however. What would the US reaction be in Iran had invaded Canada and Mexico?

Bush is beating more war drums. Neither the US nor the world deserves this, any more than the US or the world deserved Germany's aggression in the late '30s. At least Germany stuck close to home.
