re: Caring about the flock
If I gave the impression that I think a majority of church leaders are in it for the power, that was not my intent. I'm sure the bad apples are about the same as any section of the population.
It's not a high paying job unless you get way high in the church hierarchy or become some sort of media star so it's probably similar to the teaching profession where most have some sort of service attitude.
