I am being serious.

Yes, it certainly is my default answer. Money is power, social and political power, and to trace the flow of money is to follow the flow of power. Injustice is, to a very great extent, economic injustice. I know Americans don't like to think in those terms, they prefer to come up with all sorts of abstract philosophical and social reasons why they are being abused instead of waking up and accepting that most injustice happens for the simple reason it would cost someone too much to stop doing it.

I don't see the institutional exploitation of women as an issue of men victimizing women. It is a purely economic issue. In fact, much of the exploitation of blacks, Latinos, gays and many other minorities occurs because of economic reasons--particularly when it comes to salaries, promotions, and other job related issues. If a woman is getting paid less than a man for doing the same work its not because of misogyny, its not personal, its strictly business.

As for men feeling "emasculated", I have little sympathy for them. THAT is phony victimization. If a man feels emasculated he should man up and do something about it and quit whining and blaming it on women.
