"Three British soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan by so-called friendly fire from American fighter planes, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has said."
One of the consistent complaints about the US behavior in Afghanistan, Irag and Vietnam is carelessness. Lacking fire discipline and having plenty of ammo, the US forces shoot up everything.
In fact, it's my only complaint. If the US had carefully, meticulously targeted the badguys world opinion, sympathy and support would still be on or side. To attack countries, causing all the devastation and misery possible, when one man, still free, and 19 Saudi Arabians were responsible for 9-11 has been reckless at best.
