I find the author's alternative explanation, that some groups in the Middle East are just basically training entire generations to be suicidal psychopaths, not much more comforting.
Keep in mind that those who are running these terror shows over there are not poor, or uneducated. Their pathetic cannon fodder, kept deliberately miserable and angry by their Swiss-bank leadership, is another story.
