As for the MSF airstrike, I agree with your (Robert's) assessment. Of course, the strike was an accident; at worst, negligence, at best the kind of screw-up that happens in war all the time. But if we are not maliciously at fault, we are still responsible. Sooner or later, Murphy's Law always wins. When you go to another country and drop bombs, you are responsible for the casualties, even the collateral ones.
