"More parents potty training from birth by using ‘elimination communication’."
Now Ma Bowser had a similar idea. She toilet-trained her son at gunpoint, explaining that diapers were good for staunching the flow of blood, too. Kid leaned fast. My guess is that was for her convenience, not the kids.
However, this seems to be a bit different. The first question I'd ask is "Why?" Why can't the kid relax, recover from being ejected from his little bit of paradise, and get used to being tickled, picked up by strangers, having his chin chucked interminably by people wanting to pester him, that sort of thing.
I realize that in some Asian and African countries they don't use diapers. They don't have them. They don't use doctors, antibiotics, refidgerators, air-conditioning, telephones, cars, a lot of things. They can go weeks without reading a book, scanning a magazine, going to the beach overnight, and sometimes even eating. Doesn't necessarily make it good.
