"Rain" - Ha!

The Eskimaux language is reported to have 200 words for different types of snow and ice.

We seem to have one :- "WATER"

Excuse me, but.... if it's frozen it is NOT water

it is not "rain", but "snow", or "ice" or...

There is a perfectly good scientific phrase:- "Sublimation" - the direct transformation of H20 from SOLID to VAPOUR (or vice versa)

In these "dusty disks", the "water" behaves as a MINERAL:- a crystal. When it gets hot,l it boils direct to a vapor...

Other crystals also evaporate if they get too hot (in a beautiful scientific gradation around the host star) . At low pressure, NOTHING forms a liquid.

Space is NOT Earth-like...

(Back history:- "why do I say these things, this way? - because there is a long history of Press Releases talking about "Water" in wholly inappropriate circumstances. The phase behaviour of H2O is FAR more complex than "Water" and "Everything else"...)
