There was this politician who got ill and developed a fever.
He went to a doctor who asked his nurse, an incompetent twit
who didn't know much about anything, to take the politician's temperature.

The nurse grabbed a barometer in her ignorance, instead
of a thermometer, and shoved it into the politician's mouth.

A few minutes later, the nurse ran back into the doctor''s office,
breathlessly pleading, "Doctor! Doctor! Come quickly! It's our
politician patient!"
The doctor replied, "What's the problem, nurse?"
The nurse said, "I took the politician's temperature and the
instrument read DRY and WINDY."
