CO2 feedback mechanisms
As CO2 levels rise, conditions for plant growth become more favorable, and CO2 is removed from the atmosphere. There is also CO2 absorption and release from organic carbonates in plankton and from solution in sea water. I don't think how these processes affect each other is very well understood, or even if they have all been identified.
