a digression....
I was just reading about MTV awards, and I realized *one* reason I think all award shows are ridiculous is, that it is all about mass marketing and manipulation. There are so many artists out there that will never get the recognition that they deserve. (I was watching the movie, "Audrey Rose" last night, and Marsha Mason is absolutely amazing as the tortured mother.)
Here is a young man that can play a mean bass guitar...and chances are you will never see him in the main stream. However, maybe they just have the love of creating and do not care to be mainstream.
