No more Mr Nicea guy
The recent archaeological discovery and analysis of the lost "Gospel of Judas" corroborates Schonfeld's thesis, although it by no means confirms it. This text was well known to the early church fathers who removed it (along with many others) from the canon because it didn't fit in with the Christian consensus evolving in the 3rd century. Christianity as we know it today, evolved slowly, has been evolving ever since, and continues to do so under the Protestant fundamentalists and the evangelicals. And most of this "evolution" shows signs of intelligent design.
Or as Sportin' Life reminds us
"What your preacher is liable,
to teach from the Bilble,
it ain't necessarily so."
