Now that he's a serious lame duck, Bush is covering the climate change base. It has not been confirmed that he suggested eliminating Daylight Saving Time as the solution.

"It would stay dark longer, and therefore be cooler. Just makes sense to this ol' Texas cowboy," he is reputed to have claimed. "It's no wonder the Arctic ice is melting - they got daylight 24 hours a day sometimes."

It can be verified, however that "whooda thunk" is on the job as noted below.
