Nobody would work this hard to believe that the world is run by an unstoppable and omnipotent cabal of evil unless they drew some comfort or self-justification from it. How that actually works out is beyond me...
Abdication of responsibility.
If things go wrong, "It's not my fault, it's theirs." If things go right, "Take that, conspirators!"
That kind of thinking completely ignores any possible other cause for things going right, wrong, or not going at all -- including random chance -- but I get the idea that folks like that are predisposed to monochromatic thinking anyway.
