Solar-power from space is beginning to look more and more attractive.
If Bigelow's inflatable space-stations amount to anything more than
a tourist destination, he might consider housing"construction workers" in it to build a prototype experimental orbiting solar-power station.
i.e., A huge collection of silicon solar-panels, a hundred meters wide. 300 meters long for starters, in geostationary orbit...beaming down enough microwave power to light
a city of about 50,000 people.
