Although I haven't been keeping track in recent years, David Kelley used to run an Objectivist organization that was founded as a more open-minded alternative to the old Rand organization, which frankly, was starting to ossify. Some members viewed nothing outside of Rand and her select group as proper philosophical analysis of the ideas underlying Objectivism. Naturally, the idea that you can't add or modify ideas with new information is the opposite of what philosophy or science is all about.
