The software filters out HTML tags that can be used to embed software components on the page, including the Flash player used by YouTube, as well as video and audio players, etc. It removes them for security reasons, because these plug-ins have been notorious over the years for introducing security vulnerabilities.
I'm not going to open up the site and its users to the security problem by allowing those tags to be used. OTOH, I understand full well how important videos are becoming, and I've been thinking about a safe way to do it. I'm curious, astroraoul: What procedure did you follow to insert that video? Did you type in the raw OBJECT tag HTML? Or is there some kind of dialog box or special tag you use? Any restrictions on what you can embed in a post on that site?
