Just a sketch from my notebook.

I don't know what they call fiords in Chile. Probably "fiords", it's not an English word, originally. I'v never been to that coast, or spoken to anyone who's been there. It is temperate mid-latitude littoral, continental west coast, with the right retreating glacier topography, so I suspect it resembles coastal BC (where I have been) or the Alaska panhandle. The Old Gringo is there, instead of North America, because he's in hiding. The man has a great secret.
