The Chinese Space Agency has an interesting new way of raising money.

When the Chinese launch their Chang-E moonprobe
about October, 26th, there will be 2,000 paying spectators
watching the launch.
Each spectator will have paid 800 Yuan [$107.00 US]
to watch the launch.
The Chinese space agency will raise over $200,000.00 US
by that means.

True!... That would only cover about one percent of the launch costs,
but imagine if they were to seat 50,000 paying spectators for a future
deep-space launch?..You could cover a quarter of the launch-costs...

And if a contract with an internet server were signed, so that millions
of viewers on the Net could see streaming video of the launch, tens
of millions additional dollars, euros, yen, rubles, yuan, etc., could be raised.
